Lampeter-Strasburg Republican Committee

Welcome to the Lampeter-Strasburg GOP Website!

Every two years, Republican voters across Lancaster County elect a few of their neighbors to represent them as members of the Republican Committee of Lancaster County. One man and one woman is elected from each election district.  The GOP Committee's primary responsibility is to recruit, endorse and promote competent candidates for all elected county-wide, borough, township and school district positions.

Republican voters have entrusted us with this duty and we have not let them down!  In 2007, after a very deliberate review process, we endorsed two county commissioners, six judges, and several row officers, borough and township officials, and school board candidates.  By your valued support on election day, you helped assure that every single endorsed candidate was successful in that election; and each has been serving us with distinction.

For consideration of school district, borough and township races, the GOP committee breaks into school district, borough, and township committees. Here in Lampeter-Strasburg, twenty committee members represent the ten election districts in Strasburg Township, Strasburg Borough, and West Lampeter Township.  Because of the various communities of our three municipalities, we recognize the importance of geographical balance in our candidate selection process.  Our Committee respects the Lampeter-Strasburg community - and takes this responsibility very seriously.

In election cycle after election cycle, voters have agreed with the recommendations of the Lampeter-Strasburg Republican Committee.  The results have been favorable for all L-S citizens.  Our municpal governments and our school district operate extremely well with stable, competent, and insightful leadership.

We are proud of our slate of local candidates whom we have very carefully evaluated and endorsed for your consideration in the Tuesday, May 19th Primary Election.  We encourage you to vote for them in the Primary!
